Razor EP second release on her own Music That Moves label
Shinedoe drops her second release on her own MTM Record, following on from last year's outstanding Mutant Frequencies EP.
Razor is a four track release that cements the label boss’s role as one of the most important producers in the scene, highlighting her powerful, refined sound throughout the different versions included here.
The original of Razor is as sharp and deadly as the title suggests - a taut, edgy production built around a propulsive rhythm, great swarths of razor-sharp synths and fizzing, popping
percussion. The Dub Version strips away the metallic synths and focuses in on the rhythmic interplay of drums, bass and percussion, resulting is a spacy, dubbed out techno weapon.
The remixes come courtesy of Rob Kirkaldy, aka Roberto - the London based techno producer whose exciting, direct sound shows influences from Detroit as well as his hometown. The first remix is a rolling, deep banger - that seems to develop in intensity as waves of sounds merge and meld, guided by laser like percussion. Roberto’s second remix strips away some of the additional layers, and reveals a sleek, rhythmic structure that takes it cues form some of the
lords of Detroit techno.

After the success of Shinedoes latest release Road 777 EP on Intacto Records, she has invited an impressive line up of producers to reshape tracks of the EP.
Part 2 features 2 remix versions of Inside Your Mind. First remix version is treated by Berlin based MILTON BRADLEY marking it with his emotive intense characteristic sound. Second remix is done by BEN SIMS; with his own distinctive blend of tough funk and warping hard Techno grooves.
2000 AND ONE puts a stamp on Shinedoes Road 222 with his cutting edge old school Detroit Techno signature style.

Intacto Records is celebrating its 10th anniversary! Quite an achievement in these days of fleeting hits and shortly lived imprints, the platform created in 2004 by Amsterdam DJs Shinedoe and 2000 and One still thrives on innovative and indestructible club music. And as the saying goes, this calls for a celebration! Intactos defining sound included many styles. Of course Chicago house and Detroit techno were one of the key elements here, but with minimal coming up again ten years ago Intacto Records became one of the labels that shaped this fresh new sound.

Intacto Records presents Illogical Directions – The Remixes part 1 & 2 Out Now
Last May saw the release of Illogical Directions, the third album by Shinedoe, to be released with critical acclaim. Surely a mesmerizing highlight in the artist’s career, the album represents several deep and melodic excursions in nowadays deep and tech house, while her own imprint Intacto Records also added a beautiful gem in its discography.
Now the Amsterdam based DJ delivers another momentum for the world famous label, with an impressive line-up of producers reshaping some of her already monumental tracks into something completely new. Yes, the remixes are upon us!
Illogical Directions The Remixes Part 1
Part 1 features an elaborate version of Panomanic, delivered by the one and only Ellen Allien, who lets the original house groove get overtaken by fierce basslines, oldschool rhythms and synth lines. And then there’s Fe-Male, one of the most hypnotic housetracks featured on Illogical Directions, now turned into a slick minimal techno groove by Spanish duo Pig & Dan.
Creating subtle vibes at the start of the album, Essence now gets Mathias Kaden’s signature when it morphs into a bass driven techhouse crowdpleaser, definitely one to get things going! Finally it’s up to Douglas Greed to create a totally other scene for Discourse My New Romance, one of the key tracks of the album, featuring the vocals of The Knife’s Karin Dreijer. This time the darkness of the original turns into pleasantly schizophrenic house music bringing just as much freakiness as dance floor glamour.
